I’m a story teller. It’s who I am and what I do. I tell stories about love, because it’s my favorite thing in the world, and I write them down so that I may relive them.
Jesus Christ is the love of my life. My Christian faith is me and what I live.
I look for the beauty in every day. I believe life should be romantic, slow, and intentional. I love nothing better than to drink chamomile tea and write in my journal with my fountain pen. My favorite treat is an iced latte with almond milk (shout out to my Dutch Bros Girlies), and knitting another shawl I don’t need. It’s about the little things; the solidarity of my Scottish terrier, the silky fur of my cat’s tail between my fingers. Lying on the couch with my husband, a warm blanket in my lap, a good book in one hand, a hot mug of tea in the other, a Texas thunderstorm rolling in–that’s heaven on earth.
My stories are filled with the themes and atmosphere of the Brontes and Dickens; old mansions, ghosts, misty graveyards, wealthy recluses, terror, horror, but above all, love.
